Job summary

People Group Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Densification Manager (Project Development) to drive new connections to existing heat networks, supporting regional growth and decarbonisation objectives.

You will lead opportunities from feasibility through financial close, coordinating internal teams and engaging with customers and authorities to deliver technically feasible, commercially viable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project development and management within energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of heat networks and decarbonisation projects.
• Experience securing grant funding and incentives.
• Excellent negotiation and contract closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and convert new customer connections to existing heat networks in line with business plan targets.
• Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to financial close and handover.
• Coordinate internal teams to develop technically feasible, commercially viable and deliverable solutions.
• Develop customer proposals and lead opportunities through internal governance.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and external stakeholders; lead contract negotiations within governance parameters.
