Scrivens Opticians in Cornwall Medical Centres is seeking a Hearing Aid Audiologist to deliver expert hearing assessments, fit and program a range of hearing aids, and provide tailored follow-up care to improve patients’ quality of life.

You will work with the latest hearing technology, maintain accurate clinical records, and collaborate with a supportive team to deliver empathetic, patient‑centred care in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and experience fitting a wide range of hearing aids.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered approach.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.
• Strong clinical skills and dedication to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests.
• Fit and program hearing aids to meet individual patient needs.
• Provide patient education and ongoing support for optimal device use.
• Perform hearing aid maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with standards.
• Collaborate with support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with advances in audiology and hearing aid technology via CPD.
