Job summary
Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a Hearing Aid Audiologist to conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, program and fit hearing aids, and provide ongoing patient support. You will maintain records, stay current with technology, and collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality care in a patient-centered environment.
HCPC registration is required; experience with a wide range of hearing aids and strong communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
- HCPC registration as minimum regulatory requirement.
- Experience fitting and managing a wide range of hearing aids.
- Excellent communication and patient-centered approach; willingness to learn and collaborate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests
- Fit and program hearing aids to meet patient needs
- Provide patient education and ongoing support for optimal device use
- Perform hearing aid maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate clinical records per standards
- Collaborate with support staff to deliver high-quality care
- Stay updated with advances in audiology and technology
