Job summary
Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is looking for a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist to perform comprehensive hearing assessments, fit and program hearing aids, and provide ongoing patient support. You will maintain clinical notes and collaborate with a supportive team to ensure high-quality care.
Ideal candidates will be HCPC registered, experienced with a range of hearing aids, and possess excellent communication and patient-centered skills to help improve patients’ hearing and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Registered with HCPC and eligible to practice in the UK.
- Experience fitting and managing a wide range of hearing aids.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests
- Fit and program hearing aids to meet individual patient needs
- Provide patient education, advice and ongoing support for device use
- Perform hearing aid maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advances in audiology and hearing aid technology
