Suffolk County Council is seeking a Healthy Living Service Practitioner to support children, young people and families in Ipswich, delivering healthy living interventions and collaborative programmes.
You will work within the CCHS team on sustainable lifestyle change, safeguarding and multi-agency partnership work, with flexible hours and pro rata arrangements for part-time options.

As a Healthy Living Service Practitioner within our Children and Community Health Services (CCHS) team, you will play a key role in supporting children, young people and families to improve their health and wellbeing outcomes.
As a Healthy Living Practitioner, you will work directly with children, young people and families helping reduce barriers to healthy lifestyles and support sustainable behaviour change. You will be delivering evidence-based interventions and support programmes that promote healthier lifestyles, long-term wellbeing and reducing health inequalities across Suffolk.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
A Level 3 Healthy Living-related qualification and experience of Suffolk Signs of Safety and Wellbeing principles would be advantageous.

Children and Community Health Services (CCHS) promotes the safety, wellbeing, health and learning of children and young people across Suffolk. We work in partnership with families, communities and professionals to provide prevention and early intervention services that help children achieve the best possible outcomes.
The Healthy Living Service supports children and young people aged 0-19 years, or up to 25 years for those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping families establish and maintain healthy lifestyles through sustainable positive change.
