Job summary

Abri Group is seeking a Surveyor to join our Healthy Homes Team. This 6 month fixed-term contract covers Somerset, Devon and Dorset, with occasional travel to other Abri locations as needed to support customers and improve homes. You’ll bring a Building Surveying qualification (minimum HNC/HND) and experience in building surveying or property maintenance.

RICS membership would be an advantage. You’ll work with colleagues and partners to identify practical, value-for-money solutions that keep

Qualifications

• Experience in building surveying or property maintenance, with a relevant surveying qualification.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with customers, contractors and colleagues.
• Ability to travel across Abri's operating area and prioritise customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify solutions to improve living conditions and support customers in disrepair or defects.
• Investigate building defects and assist with future investment planning for homes.
• Work with the Healthy Homes Team to ensure homes remain safe, sustainable and fit for the future.
• Out in communities to understand issues and build trusted relationships.
