Places for People Group is seeking to set up and manage sustainable Healthy Communities projects across local areas, focusing on reducing health inequalities and delivering measurable community impact.

Qualified instructors are needed to run gym-based sessions with Exercise Referral Level 3 essential, and the ability to plan, deliver and monitor sessions. The role offers flexible working, health & fitness membership, pension, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified instructor and Exercise Referral Level 3 essential.
• Experienced in planning, delivering and monitoring sessions.
• Passion for improving the health of the local community.
• Ability to use MS tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage a range of sustainable Healthy Communities projects/programmes that deliver measurable impact for the community for a local contract area.
• Complete any monitoring and evaluation requested by line manager in line with current data protection protocols.
• Deliver specific Healthy community project/programme, e.g. Exercise Referral, gym-based classes, falls prevention, according to the parameter discussed with line manager.
