Job summary

Elite Care seeks a compassionate Healthcare Worker to join our domiciliary care team to support clients at home with personal care, daily activities, and medication assistance, helping them maintain independence and dignity.

Job description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Worker to join our domiciliary care/ Supported living team.

As a Healthcare Worker in domiciliary care, you will be responsible for assisting individuals in their homes with daily activities, personal care, and ensuring they maintain a good quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing care to vulnerable people, show great empathy, and have strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, and assisting with mobility
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding if required
• Administering medication and managing basic healthcare needs
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Ensuring client safety and wellbeing within the home environment
• Completing reports and maintaining records in accordance with care guidelines

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Previous minimum 6 months UK experience in healthcare or domiciliary care is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients
• Compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic understanding of care needs, personal care, and safety measures
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle responsibilities efficiently
• Driving Licence (UK Full) is highly desirable, but not essential - however, you must have the intention to obtain one if you don't already possess it
