Qualifications

• Experience in waste management and compliance is desirable.
• Ability to follow procedures and health & safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect all waste types from wards and departments (clinical, offensive, sharps, domestic, recyclable, confidential, WEEE, batteries, toner, food waste).
• Ensure correct segregation of waste and safe placement in designated areas within waste compounds.
• Move, clean, and maintain commercial-sized waste bins.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within waste compound areas.
• Report Health and Safety concerns or hazards to the Line Manager and Estates team.
• Adhere to Trust and departmental policies and statutory regulations.
