Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant within the Same Day Emergency Care Clinic/Acute Medical Unit at the Bournemouth site University Hospitals Dorset.

The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) clinic plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. The HCA is responsible for assisting with the timely admission, assessment, and treatment of patients, ensuring that they receive the necessary care within the same day.

Applicants are required to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to the provision of high standards of care to patients, and the ability to treat all patients, relatives, and members of staff with dignity and respect.

This role requires an approved care certificate

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital
