An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join their team at Ayrshire Central Hospital. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in the School Immunisation team, assisting with the delivery of Flu Immunisation Programmes across local primary schools. You'll be responsible for setting up equipment, monitoring stock, and providing support to children during their vaccination experience. Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker at Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What you will do:
As part of the School Immunisation team you will assist with various duties, setting up equipment prior to session commencing. As well as supporting the children before and after vaccination. Stock monitoring of the equipment bags at the end. You will support the delivery of the Flu Immunisation Programmes, within Primary Schools throughout the 3 localities within Ayrshire, working under direct supervision of the band 5 staff immunisation nurses.

Hours:
Between 20 and 37.5 hours per week
This is a fixed term contract from 15th September 25 – 28th November 25.
Monday – Friday 0900-1300 or 0900-1500 dependent on School size. Annual leave week 13th-17th October.
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
UK driving licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
