We’re looking for a Paediatric/Adult Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatient team at The Portland Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
The Portland Hospital is the only independent hospital in the UK entirely dedicated to women and children. Our inpatient and outpatient specialties reflect this, providing clinical expertise in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Women`s Health.
As a Healthcare Assistant Practitioner, you will work with Nurses, Consultants, and other Healthcare professionals. Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous paediatric or adult experience.
This is a unique opportunity to join an excellent department delivering care to a variety of patients at The Portland Hospital.
You will carry out a range of tasks including administrative duties, stock control, stock rotation, liaising with the stock materials team, and chaperoning patients. You will work alongside the plastics nurses and CNS for plastics, with opportunities to be involved in wound management, dressings, and patient follow-up.
