Job summary

Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital is seeking a Hospital Healthcare Support Worker on a bank basis. You will support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in delivering high-quality patient care, perform administrative tasks, and assist pre- and post-surgery care.

Bank shifts offer flexible hours based on business needs. Applicants should hold NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care with hospital or care setting experience, strong communication, and good IT skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care achieved and relevant experience in acute hospital or care setting.
• Able to meet deadlines and follow instructions.
• Good telephone manner and computer/database proficient.

Responsibilities

• Put patient care first and support a team of nurses and consultants.
• Carry out administrative duties on ward and hospital operations.
• Provide care on ward pre- and post-surgery, with a friendly approach.

Requirements

• You will need to be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting
• As a Support Worker on the ward at our hospital, you'll show us you're able to meet deadlines and follow instructions
• You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills
