An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated HCSW Nurse within the Dermatology Department at Queen Margaret Hospital. This part-time role involves providing safe care to enhance the patient experience and requires SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care. The position may lead to additional qualifications funded by NHS Fife.
An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated HCSW Nurse within the Dermatology Department at Queen Margaret Hospital.
The successful applicant will be a Health Care Support Worker educated to SVQ 3 level. A genuine interest and experience in Dermatology Nursing are preferred.
The post holder will be expected to ensure safe and effective care that enhances the patient experience within a Dermatology Specialist role and contributes to the delivery of organisational objectives.
This post is part-time, 22.5 hours per week.
You may be required to work flexible shifts and occasionally cover both Dermatology Departments in Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, and Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, as the service requires.
If successful, you will have the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after starting. This qualification will be fully funded by NHS Fife. Your Line Manager will provide more information once you are in post.
