NHS Golden Jubilee is seeking Health Care Support Workers to enhance the Radiology team. With flexible working options and opportunities for further training, this role plays a vital part in ensuring a positive patient experience in a leading university hospital setting.
Are you interested in an exciting opportunity within NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, home to Regional and National Heart and Lung services and a major centre for orthopaedics? This flagship hospital also supports other Boards in reducing waiting times for diagnostic imaging tests.
To support a period of expansion, Radiology is seeking to grow our team of enthusiastic Health Care Support Workers. You will play a key role in ensuring patients have a great care experience, managing patient flow, and supporting Radiographers to deliver quality imaging. The department operates across 5 days with extended hours, allowing for a condensed working week. Both full-time and part-time hours will be considered.
This role requires a high standard of patient care and good computer literacy. Experience in cannulation/venepuncture is advantageous but full training will be provided. The department supports further learning for HCSWs via SVQ qualifications.
Previous Radiology experience is desirable but not essential.
