Job summary

InHealth in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Nursing and Care assistant for full-time shifts 8am-6pm, four days a week with weekend flexibility. You will welcome patients, support care plans, and maintain dignity and privacy while working with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the clinic in a professional manner and advocating for patient privacy and dignity.
• Cleaning, monitoring and tidying equipment and reporting malfunctions to seniors.
• Record, feedback and convey relevant patient information to seniors.
• Deliver patient care in line with the care plan as documented by the Senior Nurse.
• Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.
• Act as an advocate for InHealth and deliver a high standard of care.

About the role

Full time / working 4 days a week / 8am - 6pm / must be flexible for weekends too

What you'll do:

• Welcoming patients to the clinic in a professional manner and acting as patient advocate at all times to ensure both privacy and dignity
• Cleaning, monitoring and tidying equipment as directed and report any problems or malfunctions to senior member of staff
• Record, feedback and convey relevant patient information/observations to the seniors.
• Delivers patient care in accordance with the care plan as documented by the Senior Nurse.
• Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates positive attitude, acting as an advocate for InHealth and deliver highest standard of care accordingly.

Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn't apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
