Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Healthcare Project Manager to join our team at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool. This senior role focuses on pre-construction, lifecycle and variation works within a complex healthcare FM environment, with emphasis on HTM, HBN, CDM and BSA 2022 compliance.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, develop pre-construction plans, coordinate asset surveys and contractor activity, and manage budgets and reporting to support client decisions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering Lifecycle and Variation projects within Healthcare environments.
• Strong knowledge of CDM 2015, HTM, HBN, RIBA stages, and Building Safety Act (BSA).
• Proven capability managing projects within high-risk buildings with BSA compliance.
• Contractual awareness within PFI is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Pre-construction PM skills with clear design/procurement/construction portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of lifecycle and variation projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with HTM, HBN, CDM, and BSA 2022.
• Develop and manage comprehensive pre-construction plans across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and training phases.
• Coordinate asset surveys, contractor activities, and stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless FM service delivery.
• Provide robust financial management and reporting, including budget tracking, reconciliations, and management information support.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance, ISO 14001 alignment and accurate O&M documentation.
