Zusammenfassung

RG Setsquare is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support hospital estate operations in Woking, Surrey. You will perform PPM, reactive repairs and fault-finding on mechanical systems, collaborating with electrical engineers to ensure safe, reliable service.

The role involves maintaining HVAC plants, boilers, pumps, FCUs and AHUs, while upholding safety and compliance standards within a healthcare setting. Strong diagnostic skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Proven mechanical maintenance experience in building services or healthcare estates.
• Ability to fault-find, diagnose and repair mechanical plant and HVAC equipment.
• Experience with PPM schedules and reactive maintenance in critical environments.
• Knowledge of health and safety, compliance and reporting procedures.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical manuals for repairs.
• Experience using CAFM and maintenance reporting tools.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on mechanical building services.
• Inspect and service HVAC systems, boilers, pumps and FCUs/AHUs.
• Maintain mechanical piping, valves and water systems.
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes and implement repairs to minimise downtime.
• Support safe operation of mechanical systems across the hospital estate.
• Assist with system modifications, upgrades and equipment improvements.
• Record maintenance activities in CAFM and related systems.
• Coordinate with electrical colleagues and external contractors when needed.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
• Maintain tools and plant rooms in a safe, clean condition.
• Monitor equipment performance and propose reliability improvements.
