The Operational Estates Department at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in Bangor is seeking a highly motivated Painter and Decorator to assist with the maintenance of hospital facilities across North Wales. You will have completed a recognised apprenticeship in painting and decorating and hold a Craft Certificate or NVQ Level 3, or demonstrate equivalent experience.

The post is full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday, with annual leave accrual and Welsh language ability being

Competenze

• Meets essential criteria as per attached job description/person specification.
• Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship in painting and decorating.
• Holds a Craft Certificate (C&G) or NVQ Level 3, or equivalent experience.

Mansioni

• Prepare internal and external paint surfaces.
• Carry out minor plasterwork repairs.
• Room clearance and movement of heavy items of furniture/equipment.
• Re-glazing operations and making good putty, mastics and glazing compounds.
• Line marking of roadways and flooring with stencil markings.
