Active Care Group is seeking an experienced Healthcare IT Business Analyst to support technology and digital transformation across the UK healthcare environment. This 12-month FTC links clinical, operational, and technology teams to deliver effective, compliant solutions.

You will gather and document business, clinical and functional requirements, facilitate workshops, and translate needs into clear system specifications for EPR and related healthcare applications.

Qualifications

• Experience with Electronic Patient Records (EPR) and clinical systems.
• Proven ability to gather, document, and validate business and clinical requirements.
• Experience working with NHS or UK healthcare sector environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience with reporting tools.

Responsabilités

• Engage with clinical, operational, administrative, and technical stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Gather, analyse, document, and validate business, clinical, functional, and non-functional needs.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process reviews to capture requirements.
• Analyse existing healthcare processes and identify opportunities for standardisation and automation.
• Document As-Is and To-Be processes, workflows, and system interactions.
• Translate clinical needs into clear system requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Produce BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and use cases.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and project managers to implement requirements.
• Assess impact on patients, clinicians, staff, and data; support EPR implementations.
