The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is recruiting a dedicated Housekeeper for the Endoscopy Unit at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. This 22.5 hour role requires flexible coverage across a 7 day week and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

You will perform cleaning duties, assist with stock levels, and use IT systems to support ward operations while communicating effectively with patients and colleagues to uphold high care standards.

Qualificações

• Recent experience in cleaning duties and use of chemicals and equipment.
• Good understanding of health and safety in a hospital environment.
• IT literate with stock control; Oracle experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the Endoscopy Unit.
• Assist with stock levels and ordering of supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff, including by phone.
• Take ownership of stock levels and report faults to ensure smooth operation.
