Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a part-time Housekeeper / Cleaners role at Witney Community Hospital. The position involves providing a high-quality cleaning and catering service to maintain a clean, safe environment and support catering provisions for clients.

Shifts include early/late hours across weekends and bank holidays with enhanced rates on those days. Join a friendly, dedicated team with in-house training and a rolling rota.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas, boiler/linen areas and back of house spaces to National cleanliness standards.
• Plan and manage daily cleaning tasks according to shift rota.
• Carry out terminal and enhanced cleans per local procedures.
• Participate in cleaning audits as required.
• Handle and dispose of waste per segregation rules.
• Regenerate cook/chill meals and record temperatures as required.

Job description

We are recruiting for a part-time (25 hours) Housekeeper / Cleaners to join our friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated team at Witney Community Hospital. This role enhances the patient experience by providing a high-quality cleaning and catering service. You'll be ensuring a clean, safe environment is maintained and provide catering provisions for clients, for which in-house training will be provided. The role involves shift working including late, early, alternative weekends, and bank holidays over a rolling rota, whereby weekend and banks holidays are paid at an enhanced rate.,

• Cleaning and maintaining the patient rooms, public areas, back of house areas such as linen room and laundry areas, according to Trust policy and procedures at a level that meets or exceeds National Cleanliness standards.
• Plan own work in-line with the daily cleaning routines and cleaning tasks as per rota.
• Carry out terminal and enhanced cleans as per local procedures
• Participate in cleaning audits as necessary
• Handle and remove waste in line with segregation processes and procedures
• Unpack and stack all linen and laundry.
• Regenerate cook/chill meals recording the temperatures of food at stages defined as appropriate within the relevant wards.

Shifts consist of early and late shifts between the hours of 7am and 7pm.
