Job summary

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is seeking a Grant Funding Programme Manager to shape and deliver our healthcare funding portfolio. You'll work with clinical and senior colleagues to understand needs, develop new schemes and turn ambitious ideas into investments that benefit children, families and staff.

From clinical transformation to equipment, patient experience and innovation, you will explore funding areas, ensure governance, and monitor impact.

Qualifications

• A postgraduate qualification in a healthcare or scientific discipline is required.
• Experience delivering funding schemes and peer review.
• Experience presenting proposals to executive/Board/Trustee audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic areas of our healthcare funding portfolio and inform future decisions.
• Review funding proposals with senior colleagues and design well-structured programmes.
• Design new funding schemes with governance and processes.
• Assess proposals for need, fit, deliverability, sustainability and impact.
• Prepare recommendations and present to Trustee-level Grants & Impact Committee.
• Manage funding programmes from application through monitoring and learning.
• Build relationships across hospital and charity to keep funding decisions robust.
