Job summary

The Harley Street Clinic in London is seeking a Porter/Driver to join the Front of House team. This full-time role provides portering, patient transport, mail and equipment deliveries, and site security across the hospital, with weekend rotation on shifts between 07:30 and 21:00.

You will be physically able, hold a valid UK driving license, and have experience in similar roles with strong customer service and health & safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Full UK, clean driving license is essential.
• Previous experience in a similar porter/driver role is essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures is important.

Responsibilities

• Take patients and visitors to their rooms across the hospital.
• Transfer patients between departments as needed.
• Deliver mail, equipment and materials within the hospital.
• Conduct hospital blood rounds as part of routine.
• Collect and dispose of refuse, including clinical waste and sharps.
• Assist in managing Medical Gas systems.
• Carry out security and fire patrols and report incidents.
• Drive the shuttle bus between hospital sites on rotation.
