Job summary

TSA Surveying Ltd. is recruiting a Maintenance Manager to oversee hard FM maintenance at a large healthcare site outside Glasgow. You will lead day‑to‑day engineering activities, drive preventative and reactive maintenance, and ensure compliance and KPI delivery on a critical infrastructure contract.

The role emphasizes leadership of mechanical, electrical and building fabric teams, with close collaboration to the client and internal operations to sustain safe, reliable estate services.

Qualifications

• Experience managing hard FM maintenance in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Leadership of engineering teams across M&E and building fabric disciplines.
• Strong understanding of compliance, PPM and reactive maintenance delivery.
• Experience with outsourced maintenance contracts and FM providers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of mechanical, electrical and building fabric maintenance across the hospital estate.
• Manage Engineering Team Leaders, Supervisors and technical teams to maintain high safety and service standards.
• Ensure statutory compliance, planned maintenance and KPIs are achieved across the contract.
• Collaborate with client, stakeholders and internal teams to deliver an efficient maintenance service.
• Support asset management with condition reports and lifecycle planning.
• Develop contingency plans for critical engineering services to minimise risk.
• Support Contract Manager with operational leadership and reporting.
