Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) seeks a proactive Fire Officer to support the Estates and Health & Safety teams in delivering safe, compliant premises and equipment across NHFT sites. • Experience: 3 years NHS experience.
• Technical skills: 3 years experience and evidence of technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring fire safety across NHFT premises and equipment.
• Liaise with Fire and Rescue Service, NHS Property Services and external bodies as required.
• Advise managers on fire safety and health and safety during maintenance or refurbishment projects.
• Be a role model of leadership to build engaged staff and teams.
• Ensure patient-focused service responsive to Trust needs.
• Develop partnerships with operational teams to integrate Estates and Health and Safety.
