Serco Group plc at Great Western Hospital, Swindon, invites an Estates Operational Manager to lead Hard Facilities Management across a busy healthcare estate. You will ensure building services remain safe, compliant and fully operational, enabling clinicians and patients to receive excellent care.

You will manage budgets, drive performance against KPIs, develop teams, build relationships with NHS, PFI partners and contractors, and oversee maintenance programmes while promoting continuous

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or higher.
• Proven experience managing Hard Facilities Management services in healthcare.
• Knowledge of HTMs, compliance requirements and operational risk management.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operational Hard Facilities Management service across the hospital estate.
• Build relationships with NHS Trust, PFI partners, contractors and stakeholders.
• Drive performance through KPIs, compliance, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams and promote high performance.
• Manage operational budgets and support financial planning and forecasting.
• Support capital projects, planned maintenance and business continuity.
