Hywel Dda University Health Board is hiring a Domestic Assistant at Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth. The role involves routine cleaning tasks in inpatient and outpatient areas, supporting ward catering, and working as part of the support team.

Two 15-hour posts and one 30-hour post are available with various shifts including weekdays, weekends and bank holidays. Induction and extensive training are provided, with Welsh language awareness encouraged.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow routine instructions.
• Basic Health and Safety, COSHH, Moving and Handling and Food Hygiene knowledge.
• Welsh and/or English speakers welcome to apply.

Responsabilités

• Undertake routine or emergency/unplanned cleaning tasks in inpatient, outpatient and department areas, follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures; support ward base catering function.
• We offer a full induction, followed by an extensive training program in which the successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of the service.
• You will be required to use a variety of equipment.
