Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in relevant subject or demonstrable equivalent experience in business administration.
• Significant previous administrative experience.
• Proven experience of report writing and analysing data.
• Experience of supervising and supporting colleagues.
• Desirable criteria: Experience in healthcare setting; knowledge of patient waits; experience presenting reports and data.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly performance meetings and help ensure day-to-day services run efficiently while maintaining patient safety, quality and access standards.
• Analyse and present operational information; ensure clinical activity is recorded accurately and data collected for audits.
• Balance changing priorities and support implementation of service policies, projects and strategies while using resources efficiently.
• Support administrative teams; address performance concerns and encourage staff involvement.
• Ensure team meetings take place and help team leaders maintain reception and scheduling cover.
• Maintain strong multidisciplinary relationships with Operational Managers, PTL, Rota Co-ordinators, patient-access teams, theatre-management teams and other colleagues.
• Demonstrate the Trust's values of caring, compassion, inclusion, teamwork and personal responsibility.
