Job summary

Circle Health Group Decontamination in Aylesford is hiring a Driver to join the team. The role involves collecting contaminated trolleys from hospitals and delivering to the decontamination facility, and returning clean trolleys to departments while ensuring safety and timeliness.

This is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week role with a flexible shift pattern. A full clean UK driving licence (Category B) and tail-lift van experience are essential, along with safe manual handling and reading delivery

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence (Category B) valid for up to 3.5t vehicle.
• Proven experience driving vans with tail lifts in healthcare or commercial settings.
• Comfortable driving in urban and rural environments, in all weathers and under time pressure.
• Ability to carry out manual handling safely with appropriate training.
• Good general education; able to complete delivery logs and read route instructions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
• Commitment to vehicle hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect contaminated trolleys from hospitals and clinics and deliver to the CHG decontamination facility.
• Return clean trolleys containing reprocessed scopes and instruments to clinical departments safely and promptly.
• Operate vehicles up to 3.5t with tail lifts in compliance with road safety regulations.
• Maintain daily delivery schedules and time-sensitive routes while ensuring excellent customer service.
