Job summary

Horder Healthcare in Crowborough, East Sussex is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead digital strategy, data and technology across the organisation.

Reporting to the CEO, you will steer major transformation programmes, drive AI-enabled solutions, ensure information security and governance, and present technology performance to the Board.

This is a senior executive role for shaping patient care through technology and data, with travel across Horder Healthcare sites.

Qualifications

• Experience at Director/ CIO/ CTO level
• Proven track record in digital transformation
• Experience advising Boards on technology and information governance
• Leadership across IT, data and analytics teams
• Knowledge of healthcare technology and regulatory compliance
• Commercial expertise in supplier management and investment planning
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Horder Healthcare's digital, data and technology strategy.
• Lead major transformation programmes including clinical systems and patient-facing technology.
• Provide executive leadership across IT, infrastructure, cyber security, BI and data services.
• Drive innovation and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.
• Ensure governance, information security, compliance and technology risk management.
• Champion a data-driven culture enabling better decision-making.
• Build strategic partnerships with suppliers and technology partners.
• Present to the Board on technology performance, risks and opportunities.
