Job summary

Peaple Talent Ltd has partnered with a well-established organisation to appoint a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in Tonbridge, offering £110,000 plus bonus.

You will lead a significant digital transformation programme, modernise legacy systems, and drive AI adoption while shaping technology strategy and people leadership across a ~30-strong IT function. This hybrid role involves some UK travel and strategic collaboration with the SLT.

Qualifications

• Proven Digital or IT leader with success delivering technology strategies and/or transformation initiatives.
• Able to engage and influence at Exec and Board level.
• Comfortable developing and managing an IT budget.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a technology strategy aligned with key business goals.
• Lead a digital transformation programme centred around AI adoption and modernisation of new systems.
• Oversee a team of ~30 across Cyber, Data, Infrastructure, Software and more.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and lead the IT team through change programmes.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
