Job summary

Atkinson Baker Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead an on-site team for a £7m independent living and healthcare scheme in the Melksham area, Wiltshire. You will oversee demolition, groundworks, structural frame, M&E services, and fit-out, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role offers a permanent contract with a salary of £72,000–£80,000 per annum and requires SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid at Work certifications.

Qualifications

• Proven on-site project management experience in care home, retirement living, residential or commercial builds.
• Knowledge of groundworks, structural envelopes and interior finishes.
• Certifications in SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and First Aid at Work are required.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day site operations and manage subcontract packages.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, health & safety, and building regulations.
• Engage with clients' agents, design teams, and care home management.
• Maintain progress against programme and manage on-site risks.
