Job summary

Aws Emea Sarl (Uk Branch) seeks an experienced healthcare technology leader to develop and own long-term NHS cloud propositions, spanning 2–5 years to address strategic priorities.

The role bridges NHS clinical realities with AWS capabilities, engaging CIO/CDIO/CCIO and Medical Director levels, shaping procurement criteria, and guiding national health transformation.

You will work with Solutions Architects, partners and NHS boards to translate policy into executable cloud designs.

Qualifications

• Experience solving problems with technology in Healthcare/Life Sciences.
• Experience with Data & AI technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, DB/Storage).
• Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders across teams and functions.
• Background working in or with the NHS on digital transformation projects.
• Engagement with NHS C-Suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own 2–5 year cloud propositions aligned to NHS priorities.
• Translate NHS policy into actionable AWS account plans.
• Engage at CIO, CDIO, CCIO and Medical Director level as a credible peer.
• Shape NHS procurement criteria and architecture standards ahead of tenders.
• Lead proposition development for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Partners, and ISVs on reference architectures, business cases, and POC designs.
• Represent AWS at national policy forums, NHS boards, and industry bodies.
• Advise the AWS UK Healthcare leadership on NHS strategy and opportunities.
