Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee healthcare cleaning operations on a full-time basis (37.5 h/week). You will lead a team, manage rotas, handle stock orders, and uphold food handling, hygiene, and safety standards in NHS Trusts and hospitals.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in healthcare or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team, create a welcoming and supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder and assist with weekly bookwork.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain correct stock levels and delegate as needed.
• Encourage proactive work and ensure food handling and hygiene standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
