Job summary

Aramark is recruiting two Cleaning Supervisors at Catterick Integrated Care Centre, DL9 4EU. You will support the Cleaning Manager to organise and supervise the team, ensuring healthcare cleanliness standards and infection prevention procedures.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts and on-site parking. This position offers training and clear career progression within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a cleaning supervisory role
• Strong understanding of infection prevention and control within healthcare environments
• Knowledge of PPE usage, decontamination procedures, outbreak response, and hygiene standards
• Willingness to undertake BICSc training and confidently train and support others
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
• Excellent understanding of health & safety requirements
• Ability to lead teams and maintain high standards in a busy environment

Responsibilities

• Support the Cleaning Manager in organising and supervising the cleaning team to deliver exceptional standards in line with healthcare cleanliness requirements
• Ensure cleaning staff are trained using BICSc methodologies and best practices
• Conduct audits and preparing KPI reports
• Assist with stock management and inventory control
• Support staff rostering and provide active floor-level supervision
• Manage PPE supplies and cleaning materials
• Maintain NHS healthcare cleanliness standards, infection prevention procedures, and environmental hygiene protocols
• Support payroll preparation and arrange cover for holidays and sickness absence
• Work closely with colleagues, customers, clients, patients and visitors to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Promote continuous improvement and ensure compliance with all health & safety and operational procedures
