Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead the cleaning team and ensure operations meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. You will oversee tasks, use cleaning equipment correctly, and maintain a tidy, compliant site, while aligning with health & safety policies and client requirements.

The role requires flexibility (5 days over 7), adherence to policies, and active participation in training and appraisals. A strong focus on client satisfaction and audit readiness is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Security clearance required – CTC and Enhanced Access NI.
• Working pattern will be 5 days over 7.
• Participate in company training to improve your standard of performance and knowledge of cleaning and related health and safety.
• To actively participate in the company appraisal.

Responsibilities

• To Supervise the cleaning team in completing tasks as per work & task schedules.
• Clean designated areas and areas notified at short notice, ensuring a high degree of cleanliness and presentation is achieved.
• To correctly use cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Monitor standards and complete daily/weekly/monthly checks as per the site requirements.
• To wear company uniform when on duty.
• To maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
• To maintain a safe working environment when working.
• To carry out special cleaning as required.
• To dispose of refuse in a safe manner as necessary and at the end of each shift.
• To assist with department stock takes.
• To ensure that all equipment is stored correctly and is in good working order.
• To ensure lost property is recorded accurately and promptly.
• To ensure that all deadlines for completion of work are met.
• To ensure that any client queries are dealt with effectively and quickly ensuring client satisfaction.
• To adhere to Aramark H&S policies.
