Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, Medirest division, is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our healthcare cleaning and facilities team. The role covers 20 hours per week with shifts across 3 days in a 7-day pattern, focusing on maintaining hygienic environments for NHS trusts and private hospitals.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, well-organised, and flexible to meet changing patterns. Prior cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste.
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
