Job summary

Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated supervisor to allocate and organise day-to-day cleaning tasks across wards and departments. Responsibilities include training staff in equipment, COSHH, and cleaning materials, supporting incident investigations, and liaising with wards to uphold high patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining cleaning standards in clinical environments.
• Knowledge of COSHH and cleaning materials.
• Experience following NHS policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and organise day-to-day cleaning tasks across wards and departments.
• Adjust staff rotas for unplanned absences and training needs.
• Audit cleaning standards and implement improvements to meet national standards.
• Complete Datix reporting and incident investigations.
• Liaise with wards and accommodation to ensure service reliability.
