Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, including Medirest, is seeking an ambitious Chef for Healthcare on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). You will prepare and serve high-quality food, lead menu changes, and help drive improvements across our food services. This role offers progression within the market-leading catering company in the UK.

Qualifications

• Hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listen to customer feedback to improve services.
• Assist with new menus and creative food concepts.
• Represent Healthcare and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
