Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting an ambitious Chef to join Healthcare on a full-time basis, 35 hours per week. You will prepare and serve high-quality food, oversee menu changes, and drive improvements in our food services across multiple venues.

You will bring passion for great-tasting food and excellent customer service, plus experience supervising a kitchen team and holding a Food Hygiene certificate. A flexible approach to shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service passion and guest-focused approach.
• Experience supervising a team in a kitchen environment.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening to customer feedback and improving services.
• Supporting creation of new menus and concepts.
• Representing Healthcare and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories and keeping kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
