London: The Wellington Hospital (NW8 9LE)
Full time: Monday – Sunday 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: rotation of long days, nights & weekends
Permanent Contract: Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience plus 9% shift allowance
We are currently recruiting for a healthcare assistant in our General Surgical ward at The Wellington Hospital – London. The unit provides care for pre and post-operative patients across a full range of specialities: plastics and breast surgeries, colo-rectal, gynaecology, bariatric, ENT, upper GI, urology, vascular & general surgery.
You will be responsible for providing assistance to clinical staff and will participate in the assessment of patient care needs and maintain the agreed standards of care under the supervision of the nursing team. You will carry out clinical observations and assist staff and patients to deliver high levels of patient care, demonstrating excellent customer care skills.
