gtd healthcare is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Ashton-under-Lyne. You will support clinical and operational teams, providing safe, high-quality care and promoting privacy and dignity.

You will work within Beccorr targets and Beccorr targets and develop your career within our values-led NHS provider. You will perform basic clinical tasks under supervision, assist with venepuncture, ECG, urinalysis and routine observations, maintain clean environments and stock, and act as

Qualifications

• Health and Social Care Level 3 qualification required.
• Experience in patient care within a healthcare setting.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team to support patients and carers.
• Carry out patient interventions (venepuncture, ECG, urinalysis, blood glucose, weight, basic observations) within scope of Health and Social Care Level 3 skills.
• Undertake designated clinical procedures after appropriate training.
• Prepare and maintain clinical environments and stock.
• Act as patient/clinician chaperone and undertake mandatory training.
• Follow infection control and clinical guidelines to maintain safe environments.
• Ensure patient privacy and dignity at all times.
• Provide information to patients, carers and families.
• Communicate confidential information clearly and accurately.
