Spire Nottingham Hospital is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join the Outpatients team on a full-time, permanent basis in Tollerton, Nottingham. The role supports nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care from admission to discharge in a private hospital setting.

You will work as part of a busy clinical team, assisting with outpatient services, patient monitoring, and movement as required. A positive attitude, excellent communication, and prior HCA experience are essential.

Competenze

• Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ECGs, taking blood pressure and patient observations.
• NVQ Level 3 desirable.

Spire Nottingham Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated Outpatients team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Healthcare Assistant who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care within a busy and fast-paced private hospital environment. Working as an integral member of the clinical team, you will support our nursing staff in providing high-quality care and ensuring an exceptional patient experience from admission through to discharge.

Duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a healthcare setting and will be confident supporting patients across a range of outpatient services. You will be compassionate, professional, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.

• Assisting the team on the surgical ward in the provision of exemplary patient care
• Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
• Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
• Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

Who we're looking for

• Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
• It would be advantageous to hold an NVQ Level 3
