Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to provide compassionate care across multiple settings, including elderly and individuals with learning disabilities or mental health needs. You will work as part of a supportive team, delivering high-quality care and following individualized care plans to maintain independence and dignity.

We offer flexible shifts, paid weekly, with opportunities for industry training and progression, including NVQ qualifications.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and eligible to work in the UK
• Driver with access to own car
• Flexible availability to travel to different care settings
• Good standard of English
• Clear enhanced DBS
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification with certificate

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care
• Assist with safe lifting and moving
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Provide companionship and social support
• Work with care plans to promote independence and dignity

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication, meal preparation, and providing general companionship. You’ll work closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity.

What We’re Looking For

• You must beover 18 years oldand have theright to work in the UK (please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role).

• You must be adriver with access to your own car.

• Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings.

• Agood standard of Englishand the ability to communicate effectively.
• Aclear enhanced DBS(which you can apply for upon registration).
• A completed NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. A certificate must be provided as proof of completion.
