Locum Ready is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants for Armadale, offering sessional work across community clinics, GP surgeries and broader primary care services. You will support patient assessments, carry out routine clinical procedures and help maintain an efficient clinic environment.

Roles offer fully flexible shifts to suit your schedule, with weekday, evening or weekend options and opportunities for both ad-hoc and regular bookings. DBS enhanced as a standard requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience as HCA in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills beneficial.
• Confident carrying out standardised clinical tasks.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.
• Enhanced DBS completed.

Responsabilités

• Conduct basic patient observations (BP, pulse, temperature).
• Support routine treatment room procedures.
• Carry out ECGs and basic health checks.
• Perform phlebotomy if trained.
• Assist with patient education and lifestyle advice.
• Update clinical notes accurately in service systems.

Locum Ready is looking for Locum Healthcare Assistants in Armadale. This opportunity offers sessional work across community clinics, GP surgeries and wider primary care services, giving you the flexibility to select shifts that align with your experience and weekly availability.

You will play an important role in supporting patient assessments, carrying out routine clinical procedures and helping maintain an efficient clinic environment. Each service provides structured guidance to ensure clear expectations and smooth day-to-day workflow for all clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting basic patient observations including BP, pulse and temperature
• Supporting routine treatment room procedures

• Updating clinical notes accurately in service systems
