Job summary

Tamfol is seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our domiciliary care team in Oxford and surrounding areas. The role involves preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, monitoring IVs and medications, and communicating with the health care team.

Visa sponsorship is available for this position for a female carer driver. A UK driving licence and own car are required to apply, with duties including transporting patients as needed and delivering documents between staff.

Qualifications

• Healthcare assistant with experience in preparing patients for exams and taking vital signs.
• Ability to communicate with the health care team and document patient information.
• UK driving licence and own car required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record information, such as a patient’s temperature, pulse and respiration rate, blood pressure, and other vitals.
• Following doctor’s instructions.
• Monitoring IV drips and medications.
• Deliver messages and documents to appropriate staff members.
• Communicate emergency information to emergency medical personnel.
• Verifying insurance coverage for patients.
• Organise medical documents and files for easy retrieval.
