Lakeside View Nursing Home in Southport is seeking Healthcare Assistants for days and nights. We are a 48-bed, agency-free home rated GOOD by CQC and PAMMS, with a warm, supportive team that treats staff like family. Join a role focused on compassionate care and resident dignity.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma of Higher Education (preferred).
• Experience: Care home experience preferred; not required but helpful.
• Language/region: United Kingdom context.

Responsibilities

• Helping residents with personal care while preserving dignity.
• Assisting with meals and encouraging residents during eating.
• Keeping care plans accurate and up to date.
• Providing companionship, comfort, reassurance and smiles.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ needs.
• Light medication support with training.
• Escorting to appointments and activities.
• Following health, safety and infection-control protocols.
• Communicating effectively with residents, families and teammates.
