Job summary

OneCall24 Healthcare is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care for a young male in his home in Birchington. You will support daily living activities, monitor health, and collaborate with family to maintain dignity and independence.

Experience in bowel care, autonomic dysreflexia, catheter care, and moving and handling is essential. Driver eligibility is mandatory due to mobility needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated compassion, reliability and professionalism in care settings.
• Experience in bowel care and autonomic dysreflexia management.
• Moving and handling experience and catheter care capability.
• Experience supporting clients with spinal injuries in complex care.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care and support to a young male living in his home environment. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive and meaningful impact on his daily life while working closely with his family to uphold his dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring his health and wellbeing, and always ensuring his comfort and safety. The successful candidates will provide ongoing support in relation to his medical history and individual care needs.

We Are Looking For Carers With Experience In

• A proven track record of going above and beyond, one of our core values at OneCall24Healthcare, to help clients achieve meaningful social outcomes and make a positive impact on their lives
• Experience in bowel care
• Knowledge and experience in managing Autonomic Dysreflexia
• Moving and handling experience
• Catheter care, including suprapubic catheter management
• Experience supporting clients with spinal injuries
• Previous experience within complex care

All candidates MUST be drivers, as the client may have access to mobility vehicles/ WAV's that they may need to drive.
