Job summary

OneCall24 Healthcare Limited seeks Healthcare Assistants to support a young male with complex care needs at home in Herne Bay. You will assist with daily living tasks, monitor health and wellbeing, and ensure comfort and safety in a home environment.

We value compassionate, reliable carers with moving and handling experience and a proven track record in complex care, including autonomic dysreflexia management and spinal injury support. Driving is required due to mobility needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care and autonomic dysreflexia management.
• Moving and handling experience.
• Experience supporting clients with spinal injuries.
• Driver with access to mobility vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring health and wellbeing, and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Providing ongoing support in relation to medical history and individual care needs.
• Working closely with family to uphold dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care and support to a young male living in his home environment. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive and meaningful impact on his daily life while working closely with his family to uphold his dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring his health and wellbeing, and always ensuring his comfort and safety. The successful candidates will provide ongoing support in relation to his medical history and individual care needs.

We are looking for carers with experience in :

• A proven track record of going above and beyond, one of our core values at OneCall24Healthcare, to help clients achieve meaningful social outcomes and make a positive impact on their lives
• Knowledge and experience in managing Autonomic Dysreflexia
• Moving and handling experience
• Experience supporting clients with spinal injuries
• Previous experience within complex care

All candidates MUST be drivers, as the client may have access to mobility vehicles/ WAV's that they may need to drive.
